Don't worry—I have to magnify not only kana but kanji all the time, as there is often no other way for me to tell them apart.

It's a shame that "Dame Dame Saito Nikki" isn't available in English. I'd love to read it. I'm fascinated on how America is portrayed in anime and manga and I think I would have liked this one. For me,the portrayals are a mixed bag. Some are positive. Some are negative. Some are just so bizarre that even a Japanese person who has lived here probably wouldn't believe it. I hope that someday either Mr. Thompson or someone else writes a books on how America and Americans are portrayed in anime and manga. I'd love to read it. Heck,I'd even buy it!
