How could I forget to talk about Thoth's nicknames?! I laughed so much at that part.

spoiler[Tsukito's rule enforcement took a toll on him. He was definitely taking his job too seriously. Loki pulled an interesting prank this time. It sure was fun watching them squirm ^^ And the electrocution part was hilarious!! So was the obvious spaying/jealousy part from the other guys. This was a really nice & fun episode!] |

I think the reason that Tsukiyomi is depicted in this as such a blank slate to write missions on is that there doesn't seem to be a great deal of mythology about him other than his role as a god of ocean and moon. About the only story I can find has it that he, rather than Susanoo, was the one to kill Uke Mochi, thus pissing off Amaterasu who said she never wanted to see him again, which explains why the moon and sun don't share the sky (usually). But somehow I can't picture Tsuki-Tsuki killing anyone.
What I find strange is that while Amaterasu freaks out and hides in her cave during solar eclipses, I can't find any similar stories about what Tsukiyomi is up to during lunar eclipses. If anyone runs across such stories, please share them. Oh, and apropos of this episode, "an alternate interpretation is that his name is a combination of tsukiyo (月夜, “moonlit night”) and mi (見, “looking, watching”)." phia, you definitely picked the right basic four food groups for your game. I loved Hades sneaking around behind everyone to slip into school. But where do all these other students keep coming from? They seem to sort of appear and disappear as needed for background. Best line: spoiler["Perhaps I did not sweat enough." Adding glasses to that was like...adding glasses to that.] Looks like maybe the Nordic boys are up next week. |

Episode 6
The wall bit was even more funny this time with spoiler[Tsukito attached to her]. Extra props to Hades' worries, and the shocking chain. |

Is Thoth supposed to a jerkoff god even in mythology too?
Loki should be renamed the god of trolls :I |

I am pretty sure it can be synonymous. |

the spoiler[electrocution chain due to the ring] was probably the funniest thing that has currently happened in this show.

^ I see what you did there...
If troll = trickster, no need to rename him. It's basically his thing. As for Thoth, it might depend on your definition, but I would say no, to any of the definitions I'm aware of. But then, I don't see him that way in this either, just a god who doesn't suffer fools lightly. Of course when you're the god of knowledge and wisdom and writing, tasked with arbitrating disputes, maintaining the balance between good and evil, and judging the dead, pretty much everyone is a fool by comparison. Thoth started out as a moon god, so maybe that's why he's so hard on Tsukuyomi. Also, I have a feeling that his monocle is as much a referent to the lunar disk/crescent headdress Thoth is often depicted wearing, as it is a prop denoting upper crust intellectuals. |

Ep 6
Aside from the spoiler[electrocution part], this episode was pretty blah. |

This episode was so funny. I couldn't stop laughing during the spoiler[electrocution] bit and poor Hades thinking that it was all his fault. And the book that Tsukito was using to "sweep Yui off her feet"
Toth lecturing Yui was made even funnier with spoiler[Tsukito attached to her and sitting on the floor]. |

Ep 7
Ah, so Balder is spoiler[the yandere type.] I'm curious. It appeared that spoiler[ Loki was in the process of putting some enchantment on Yui and it almost worked until Yui snapped out of it. Wouldn't that kind of thing be blocked by the piece of jewelry Zeus put on him? We saw that the jewelry can be overcome by intense emotion, but it didn't seem that way with Loki.] Loved the bit with Thoth, especially his expression. Oh and if the show was just Hades making puns, I'd totally watch it. |
