Does this unlock later? I've only seen one other in the battle so far besides Aurora. It goes up to the standard 3 members then?
My issue with the platforming isn't frustration, just it seems a bit restrictive for an RPG to be on a 2D plane. It comes off as a platform game where you just so happen to get into RPG battles instead of just jumping on enemies. Feels a bit of a mishmash.

I think either you misunderstood, or he misunderstood you. He means you can swap Aurora out. You can only use two characters at a time.

Don't see a problem with it being on a 2d plane. Valkyrie Profile is the same and it dosen't hurt the game at all. Wild Arms 4-5 also have platforming elements and those only help the game.
Seems look a great choice and spices up the game. rpgs don't need to be these grand open world affairs.

Nice atmosphere.
Good gameplay.
Nice battles system (an improved one over FF's IMO).
Really amazing music.
Good characters.
Story can be worked better (not so much emotion invoked, not surprised from a Western production).
Excellent gem system (feels like FF7, just a little bit, maybe D2/3).
Excellent skill system (FFX).
Graphics are amazing, though the engine they used is only custom and you'll notice the flaws that are carried through it. Character design is half-half, the main character could have been worked better ... Not happy about the main character's design.
That's about it so far. Got it on PC.

In the US, no. In the UK, yes. Elsewhere, I don't know.

I didn't see a physical release here, there was a boxed edition sure but that just had download codes in it as well as some stuff like a keychain, poster and artbook

That would be what I was referring to; I guess if it doesn't even have a disc you can install from, it isn't technically a physical release.

This seems like a cute game and an interesting take on Sleeping Beauty. Too bad I don't have any of the consoles needed to play it! |
Do you have a decent PC? You could download it off Steam and play it. |
Even home console Nintendo get to join in the party.

And thank GOD for that because being able to control that blue firefly using the Gamepad and stylus made it much easier than controlling it on the right control stick. This is especially true when you're collecting those orb lights in order or doing those shadow puzzles.

The PS4 lets you do it with the touchpad, but the sensitivity is very high and we found it almost impossible to control.

I wonder if there's going to be a sequel of this series. If you collect Confessions #10-16, there seems to be a side story about possibly a modern girl named Sophie who stumbled upon the World of Lemuria via a mirror. It'll be cool if that plot is going to be in the next game.
