Nope. I'll wait and see if an economy set is released in the future. Otherwise I have broadband internet, for Cruchyroll HD streams of course Twisted Evil , should we not get one.

I think releasing singles w/ the possibility of an artbox for the final volume would be absolutely amazing.

Looks like they cheaped out...again:

Yep I figured.

How do we fix this? Simple! Buy their chipboard products (if the title is to your liking ofcourse!) and skip the flimsy packaged ones. Aniplex is an experimental company, and this is probably an experiment on how they could save some money, or profit more. If they see that their more well packaged products are selling better, that's what they'll default to.

Of course, you don't have to follow my advice. It's simple minded, but things like this doesn't have to be that complicated Wink.

Aniplex expects $250 for a sub-only mediocre anime. Absolutely shameful.

I'm going to hold on to my money for the inevitable over expensive Mahouka Blurays. Stay classy Aniplex, stay classy. Laughing

Okay, seriously. There are ways to avoid this kind of bullshit and support the industry.

Step #1: Buy yourself a region free blu-ray/DVD player. I personally recommend the Oppo, but really there are much cheaper ones out there.

Step #2: Buy the anime from amazon.co.uk, or any other European retailer that ships internationally. Not only are they officially licensed releases, they're a shitload cheaper than what you'd be paying here. Here are a few examples:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Puella-Madoka-Complete-Collection-Blu-ray/dp/B008MJRO6O/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1407538076&sr=8-1&keywords=Madoka+Magica

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Durarara-Limited-Edition-Blu-Ray-Set/dp/B00HRTHTO2/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1407538094&sr=8-2&keywords=durarara

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Bakemonogatari-Part-Blu-ray-Akiyuki-Shinbo/dp/B00D48ZQFO/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1407538141&sr=8-1&keywords=bakemonogatari

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Fate-Zero-Pt-Collectors-Edition/dp/B00IIK6BSO/ref=sr_1_11?ie=UTF8&qid=1407538227&sr=8-11&keywords=garden+of+sinners

The simple fact is, if you guys buy from Aniplex of America, you support their business model, and thus justify their price tags and overall cheapness in their releases. Doing that also has the consequence of denying others the choice to buy these shows simply because it squirms out of their budget - that, however could be argued that we're all entitled.

So instead, go with the smart alternative: Import. Support the shows you love. Own the shows you want. And give a big fat "f**k you" to Aniplex of America. Win win, right? It's the civilized way to bitch to them.

No Dub!!!?? That sucks, nisekoi is well known so why?

I fail to see how being well known correlates to having a dub.

Usually popular series gets dubbed, and its shonen jump

That's a nice-looking box set. Personally, I'll just stick with the manga though.

You took the words right out of my mouth, Leland Lee. Very Happy *thumbs up*

It's funny: Aniplex took this pricing model to cut down on Japanese customers reverse importing from America, when all it accomplished was causing their American customers to import from the UK. Laughing
