I understand Attack on Titan or the others like Dragon Ball. But why is Doraemon no.1? What's so bad about it?

Death Note, too difficult to discern who is the protagonist and who isn't, or Tokyo Ghoul, that would be way too painful, both physically and psychologically.
But, even though Attack on Titan is pretty bleak, it is still an interesting world to live in.

Presumably they wouldn't want to be Nobi, if it meant actually BEING Nobi. 
(As for having their own access to Doraemon's gadgets, that's quite a different poll.)

Yeah to be honest, I was pretty surprised to see Doraemon being on no.1, I would like to know why.

Usually around the people I know they go with One Piece because they are scared of the pirate life with no swimming. Another is Fist of the North Star, people just do not wanna go around that much death.

^This, basically. Nobita-kun (the protagonist of Doraemon) has become vernacular for a wimpy, incompetent crybaby who has to saved by his robot cat on a constant basis. Nobody wants to be him, and the comic is almost universally read, so it would get high results.

The "Hero" of Doraemon is Nobita. If you watched the anime you know very well why people don't want to be him!

I never seen it but I thought the main character was Doraemon? Not the kids because you never see them on merch, etc. and they even talk about the cat.
Also I don't get One piece or Dragon ball (if they are talking about Dragon ball not Z.) No aliens, you can either save the world or be lazy, plus you run into dinosaurs and friends. The other you end up doing whatever you want and be a pirate. Tons of friends and a body that stretches 'all over.'
