Exactly. I mean I could connect the 2 together with a piece of string and it would be about as useful.

Because in Japan those have a list price of around $47 so it's a cheaper alternative if you don't want to pay the extra $20 or you just don't want yet another controller hanging around.

Amazon Japan has them listed for ¥ 2,250 right now. I'm talking about the Wii Classic Controller Pro btw not the Wii U Pro Controller.

For one thing the Dualshock 4 is a much better designed controller than the Wii U classic controller, so this would make the gameplay experience a lot more enjoyable imo.

Glad someone thought to make something like this.

Gotta say...if you can afford a WiiU and a PS4, $20 doesn't sound like a stretch.

If figure Nintendo can add an update to their consoles and render this adapter useless.

GameCube controller support is in the way, so I'll just use that.
I do hope they make more use of it than just for smash.

Yeah, I'm confused by the people thinking this is something new/weird. I still have my GC adapter for DS2s. If it's cheap enough, I'll get one as I only have 1 each of the Wii and WiiU normal controllers, but have 4 DS4s.
