Gave it another try.
New info about Maple Land was shared. The situation seems very real and very serious. It wasn't hard to connect to the story. This one is starting to grow on me. Gonna give it a few more episodes. |

If I was in his Kanie's position I would have done the exact same thing. Even if they renovate the entire park whilst it's open, you're still only going to get a few 'guests' currently to see it in its new condition and for what he's trying to achieve, word of mouth won't travel quick enough. I believe he'll spoiler[shut the park down for a week/ month. Completely renovate, add new life to the place, a big advertisement campaign and then announce it as a 'brand new' park opening just as the summer starts.] Kanie will then use the hype and flood of 'guests' to this 'new' park as a way of getting the 250,000 he needs. They'll most probably succeed on the last day, but from the first two episodes it'll definitely be fun seeing how they do it. |

Yep, it's definitely for rennovations. I'd do the same thing. TOTALLY saw through his spoiler["piss them off to fire them up" plot] It's a fail-proof way to motivate people. Anybody watch Gordon Ramsay?
Seiya continues to be awesome. It would be great if Isuzu doesn't turn into a love interest for him; the princess is SO much cuter. :3 (omg I don't ship the two leads; call the press!) |

I kind of love overly ditzy characters... so if she has more extremely random acts like her Helicopter, she is easily gonna be one of my favorite characters for this show. |

Episode 2
"spoiler[The gun may have played a part]." "spoiler[I'm a helicopter]." More lines like this please, we just need Kanye to show his bad side so we get some guys in on it too. Although maybe that deceptively cute pink dog/cat mascot counts. It is not a bad idea to spoiler[close the park down for cleaning], the place looks horrible, no one new is going to want to return or recommend a place that looks run down. Rather than doing a half arse job while guests are there it would probably be better to suddenly reveal changes. |
