My top two choices are The Twelve Kingdoms and Kino. I know both are unrealistic. Both would be rescues, like half of The Twelve Kingdoms was already released, and Kino was in some sort of licensing hell.

But those two by far would be the light novels I most want to see.

I ended up suggesting a Dengeki Novel Grand Prize winner from several years back. It was interesting that Vertical isn't really putting any restrictions on this survey even though one would expect them to have limitations. I almost suggested Nazotoki Wa Dina No Ato De by Tokuya Higashigawa since it's kind of fun. But, with Shogakukan as the publisher I just don't know. I don't expect Twelve Kingdoms from any of the manga publishers if it ever does make it back over.

Those were announced by Del-Rey five years ago, and since then, nothing. Maybe the rights are available again, maybe not...

With Shin Sekai Yori's pages count, I can justifying a high price tag and long translation time. For the equivalent length of several LN volumes, it's hard work even for those that do good fan translations.

I do, but sadly I had already put down Baccano.

Pretty certain they've said no to Baccano before but doesn't make me not want it.

Does anyone still have the license to Zaregoto?

I voted zaregoto! I remember reading on Kodansha's official tumblr that they have no intention of releasing any light novels, which makes me a little more hopeful on its chances of being licence rescued.

Didn't vote for Baccano or Durarara cos I have faith that onnnneee day yen press will pick it up >.<

It is, but it's also really long. I doubt we'll see it here. FWIW, I requested Library Wars.

Survey is closed now, but I've been howling at them to continue the Guin Saga novels for years.

Translate Hakushaku to Yousei! I know it's long novel, but i belive that it would become even popular if you people would only translate it. I heard that people are even translating novel on google translate, cause they can't wait any longer. Me too!!! Please translate all the volumes of Hakusaku to Yousei !!!!!!
