I was on the Tokyopop website today, and there is a new image of the box for the special editon. This one (IMHO) is much nicer than the other one that the site showed eariler.

Ah neat. Heh, figures that my Chobits manga are the ones that I've put in any available space I could find on my self, and thus aren't all together nicely. Well, I have to reorganize it anyway since I've run out of room on that self... expand to another shelf! 
So... is that box going to be packaged free or cost a little more or what?

The special edition will be an extra 10$US and will the box and a Chii figuarine. Heres a link to the page on Tokyopop's website.

Oh! I should have thought of looking at their website. Thanks for the link. Hmm, $10 for a figurine & box. I guess I'll just wait and see if my store even gets the package in. That's how I decide most things anyway. ^-^;

 according to rightstuf.com the box and figurine are supposed to be Waldenbooks and Borders exclusives... I don't think either of those are near me...

Hopefully that will not be the case, I've checked Tokyopop's website and they don't make any mention of that being the case either. So I'm not going to get too worryed yet.

Still, we can hope that Tokyopop will have a way for those of us without a Waldenbooks/Borders around a means to get the box sets. Otherwise they are liable to leave a sour taste in some peoples mouths. I'm going to drop Tokyopop an email to see if I can find out about it from the horse's mouth. I'll let everyone know what I hear if I hear anything.

Give them about 48 hours before you start to wonder if you got ignored. I emailed them before in the past about something and I got a reply the next day.
