That's why I prefer online streaming rather then using network TV to broadcast anime, that way it doesn't have to be censored. As I said, more people are watching TV online rather then on network TV. I've seen stuff online that can become popular, you don't need network TV to make it mainstream or make it household name. I think anime can become mainstream but by using online streaming and like I said more people are watching online then on network TV. |

That's fine, but ya can't use this "(and it'll continue to decline because of internet streaming)" to support this "TV viewership has decline". TV viewership and TV sales are not the same (and the latter is not due to internet streaming).
Yes, Adult Swim Toonami hasn't been censoring, save for the f-words and blurring nudity. And oh yeah: Korra x Asami, KorrAsami true end! |

Well there's a strong correlation between TV viewership declining and the increasing internet streaming viewership, just saying. But I wouldn't be surprised if the TV viewership start to decline any further. |

Again, let's get this straightened out, TV sales is not due to internet streaming. This article: http://www.computerworld.com/article/2487530/personal-technology/u-s--tv-sales-shrink-nearly-10-.html is about TV sales, not TV viewership, and thus can't be used to support the other article: http://mashable.com/2013/10/11/millennials-online-videos/ which is about TV viewership. |

But these example are censorship due to american double stands. You guys pump out like 90% of the worlds porn. Sort it out. I don´t even know how much i can swear on this board.
Here in europe we have hardcore swearing in 0 and up rated movies and even sometimes add in like some dumb scanlators. Shin Chan for example had balloons changed to condoms in a daytime airing dub. Ace of spades there. Well as it has been said before nearly all countries do not take animation and so on seriously(even the Oscars) and this won´t change in our lifetimes too much i take. So as long as that does not improve comics will continue to sell like 25.000 and be a "success" and anime who break 10.000 will be called "big". My favorite american censorship of all time is this recent Hannibal case: https://www.reddit.com/r/todayilearned/comments/1wpr7i/til_that_a_shot_in_hannibal_of_a_flayed_naked/ Sort it out. About Korra i can life with the couple but it needed more build up and they should have come out of the portal after time passed on their journey hand in hand(and not go in) to make it more understandable. We should get more canon comics after the show ended so the story is not over yet. |

I agree, and I wish more companies would do this. I'd rather have a internet-only series like Vangaurd that's uncut than a heavily edited TV mess like Yu-Gi-Oh. They could at least put the subs online, but they don't. |
