Guess all of that Asian fusion in BH6 really helped it. Big drop on KanColle though, but still decent numbers.

Last week's numbers were really low (1st place - Yūki Yūna wa Yūsha de Aru Vol. #5 - sold 6,422 copies). This week's numbers took a hard swing at the other direction; with 11th place, Kuroko no Basket (Season 3) Vol #1 (6,696 copies), ahead of Yūki Yūna and 12th place, Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso Vol. #3 (6,379 copies) just below Yūki Yūna.

Dat Sunrise discrepancy but all 3 sell what they deserve to based on quality and Disney wins again.
BH6 has nothing to do with the source material btw. but that is a good thing for once.

JoJo could do a bit better as we need to reach Steel Ball Run.

I wonder how much Idolmaster sold if you include the version that has the G4U bundle.

Ye, thats standard. Most months got 1 really big week, with 1 or 2 smaller-sized weeks and 1 or 2 dead weeks.
Without people releasing the top 100 BD charts later in the week, following the anime sales of anime releases in the big week(or those with wk2 in the big week) would be hell.

50-60K is honestly about what I expected. It's available online a lot more readily than Unicorn ever was and doesn't really have the same sort of packaging extras nor is written by a mainstream author. It should have a pretty strong second week at least. It's still well on pace to be one of the best selling Gundam titles ever released, you know considering the franchise is almost 40 years old and makes it's bank off of merchandise more than anything.

Hey man you gotta look on bright side of things.

1.) You don't have to wait 4 years for the series to conclude (only 2 this time).

2.) If you can't wait for 2 years then you can just go out and buy Vol.5-7(manga) which is what the anime will cover (assuming you haven't read it already). Plus, it'll be cheaper too since 3 volumes of The Origin at full price will cost you about the same amount as the first episode on BluRay ($90-$100).

It should be noted that the Idolmaster: Cinderella Girls numbers don't include the G4U bundles, which I know many fans jumped to buy instead of the normal version. I

It's hard to say how much it'll increase the sales though. My guess is that it'll up it to around 20.000.

Data is out. G4U bundle sold 24.3k, so its a 37.9k wk1. Will probs reach 40k+ next week(down from 86k for Idolm@ster).

Damn. That's waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay over what I thought it'd be. Now they better use what they can from that money to give us more dance scenes.

Double event ticket on Vol.1 (one on the standalones and another one for a different event on the G4U bundle). It is not really that surprising when you think about it, since event tickets for Idol franchises mostly bring in fans who wouldn't normally buy the anime. Same thing happened to Love Live... but of course Love Live didn't get a standalone+event ticket and a G4U game+event ticket treatment for Vol.1. You could argue that Vol.7 of Love Live could be considered as the standalone and Vol.1 as the G4U game + event ticket, but I am sure Vol.7 would've sold even higher had it had a PS Vita game bundled with it. Same with all the other volumes too. So it's not really that similar.

You can be rest assured it will drop a lot from Vol.2 onwards due to the double event ticket, unless they bundle sought out bonuses or every single volume (standalone and G4U). I'm sure everyone has seen how the non-event ticket CD singles have sold, so that's a good indication of how many will buy the rest of the anime (it will be lower as the anime is a lot more expensive than the CD singles).
