All the chicks go for Qwenthur. And the dude wastes his time with porn.

I thought that was a pretty interesting weakness he found in the flying object. Even so it is pretty crappy design that it could be taken down so easily.

Why could Nutso pinpoint their location in the corridors but not in the same room with them?

So he was not actually a spy, just a different political faction? oO Kinda hard to screen your personnel for that...

I was trying to figure out what Qwenthur was trying to do to the small suit, thought maybe it would be a diamond drill, but surprise is that he used diamonds with his explosive to create a nasty fragmentation grenade. And kind of cool about taking out the Object, but that seems like a pretty bad design flaw. Seriously they should like asking him design problems.

That part was totally implausible. Diamonds might be hard but they shatter (dissipating energy on impact), and they might be dense but are not that big. So the enemy mecha can shrug off a cavern of multi-ton rocks but basically gets totaled out because some hard pellets were thrown at it. And the improv "cannon" he used was a thin metal door he could kick into a rough concave shape.

Fancy idea but only if you don't think too hard about it.

Episode 20:

Lol the boys building a snowman and working while being cold as hell. How silly. I kinda feel bad for them

Indigo Plasma sounds like a powerhouse for an Object. Not bad for the action in particular with the boys' evasive skills to dodge some close calls. However, this mission has just gotten a whole lot more dangerous by the looks of it.

Ep 20, ok so what amounts to a Legitimate Kingdom civil war arc goes into high swing.

There is going to be need some explaining on how our "French is the master language" from City Slicker (yeah, cause that sounds like a French name...) garnered up an impressive 6 objects that are at least as powerful if not outright the same model as Indigo Plasma.

So City Slicker was behind the Nuts guy and the destruction of the mind anyway? Looks like he will try and destroy other cultures and such, a radical. But I want to know where he got all those Objects.

The gas reveal was not to surprising with how it appeared earlier in the episode, my response was to say the other one that has plasma should have shot the gas.

episode twenty

I like the whole plasma gas thing was as a sort of misdirection for the audience. I was thinking now that they know about the plasma puddles, it should be relatively easy with all their surveillance tech to know where they are and avoid them. And then, the real threat appears.

It's a shame though. I was thinking that with the set up for the episode Milinda might get a chance to shine. I was figuring that rather than having to assist her in blowing up the enemy Object, Qwenthur and Havia would instead be focused on preventing the enemy infantry from undermining the Baby Magnum like they normally do to enemy objects, and Milinda would be free to win the battle as planned. Oh well. I continue to believe that they have a credibility issue in this show with the idea that Milinda is a good pilot because they just keep refusing to create any opportunity for this to be showcased and instead we're simply told it is true.

Episode 21:

Ha, those maid service mercenary troops had a personality change right after getting those diamonds. (kinda makes me wonder how much they are worth). In the meantime, I have to say that the boys lucked out again because of the convenient timings.

More proof the granny is also a badass this episode too.

I expect the next episode to conclude this arc but hopefully go out in a explosive fashion.

With a name like Prizewell City Slicker, no wonder he hates the English language so much.

I was a little surprised that the girl judged the diamonds as so valuable. I was pretty sure thy were industrial-grade diamonds. Still worth a decent amount, but not gem quality.

I hope for his sake Qwenthur wasn't lying about the other two boxes of diamonds. How did he manage smuggle that many out of that last adventure anyway?

Havia sure got dissed.

Those girls are scary. Them acting cute only made them further unsettling, with the reaction against Havia again bringing back that despite looks they are not to be messed with. I fear the reaction if he reveals that he lied about the rest of the payment, maybe beg the rest of the army to pay them.

Usually the maid thing would feel really off, indeed it is a weird sight on a battlefield, but I don't have much of a problem with them. I guess the mercenary squad fitting to the tastes of certain clients makes enough sense.

Good thing the show had continuity that 7 objects just makes no sense that there is something up with them being an act of looking more intimidating. I am going to maybe guess they will turn the fakes on the real thing.

episode twenty-one

It's a testament to how well Heavy Object has become to mixing the serious with the goofy/insane that the band of mercenary maids didn't feel out of place.

One thing that did strike me about the episode was an unusual piece of character-building. Contrasting Qwenthur's determination to do the right thing and persuading Havia to do the same against Granny's more selfish actions and her persuading her relative to do the same was the sort of touch I didn't expect to see in Heavy Object.

Episode 22:

Ha, I knew it. Those maids aren't what they appear to be or who they are really working with.

The daring tactic of the boys was interesting. I mean as usual, they put their lives at risk on the battlefield. Pretty climatic way for them to execute it as well with some help with the elite princess too. Qwenthur continuously impresses me with his analytical skills with his knowledge.

Felt bad for Havia this episode though LOL
