I know that the group-think on My Anime List reveres this show, but are there really 1000 western anime fans out there who are going to pay $800 MSRP for 162 episodes they've already watched? (...and before anyone chimes in with "you don't understand, the show is really good", I've seen all of it, and most of the gaiden material.)

Or, are they counting on sheer reputation to sell this to people sight-unseen? A risky proposition, considering the fact that it isn't dubbed is already going to be a dealbreaker for people who refuse to buy any sub-only products, and the fact that it "looks old" is going to turn off others. I have to admit, I don't understand the pricing this time around.
