although the idea of something new for gurren lagann does sound interesting the fact that aniplex owns it and price gouged the living sin out of the blu ray set instantly kills that interest

Don't really see the point of a remake/reboot, the series isn't even that old
Unless they plan to drastically rewrite the story (go for the "All the Lights in the Sky are our Enemies"-ending maybe?). |

Possible but I believe Konami just straight up owns part of Gurren-Lagann. They were on the original copyright too. |

Well for me the one from 2007 wasnt really that good and the ending was also meh didn't like it... so it probably wont be a sequel unless they do another ending and continue it from that point befor the time skip happens. But i guess i would like to see a new story smth like an alternative story perhaps but oh well we dont even know if its gonna be an anime or game etc

The website is registered to Fields who produces anime ... and pachinko games. Maybe it's just a red herring, but a Gurren Lagann pachinko machine was put in testing late last month. It's from Mizuho, a partner to Fields.
