How does this Battle Spirits franchise compare with similar kids shows, same ol' same ol'? The difference in graphics between the characters and monsters in the last season make me want to tear my eyes out, but these look better, so far.... |

Battle Spirits is my second favorite card show after Yu-Gi-Oh. It's usually far more adventure based and the art style dramatically changes between series. In Sword Eyes it took place in a European fantasy world while in Ginga Ultimate Zero it was sci fi and you got a lot of different space travel adventures. The current series is one huge Warring States mashup. The franchise certainly has a lot of diversity. The very first series is pretty much the most normal with just kids playing card games.
