Well, there are only so few unlucky characters and only one things of herself as useless.
Anyway, here's the scene that made me bawl. Sub A: I am sure they will understand. [They] will understand my reasons. They would never want me to abandon my best friend. I swore to my best friend, that I would protect him. Just like *****'s feelings when he protected me. B: Just like ******'s feelings when he protected me. ******, I will..... A: *****, I will.... I feel like I know it but I can't place it. Will probably need hints but there's no need to rush. A hint should be given every 7-8 hours.

It is not how well known an anime is that determines how easy it is to guess the quote. It is how often it is watched by users on this site and how much the episodes blend together.
To take some obvious examples, if I started pulling quotes from Doraemon or Captain Tsubasa, it would be easy to make them last 4 hints, even if 1 of the hints directly state the source material. |

Well, considering how I once put a character from this anime in character guessing game and said character was guessed in a jiffy, I'd say that the anime is pretty popular in these circles.

The quote was posted less than ten and a half hours ago. The are still nearly 38 hours before it will expire if nobody gets it. Based on your hint it seems like it should be easy for anybody who has seen the show, and remembers it, but I am sure that I have not seen it. |

You've only given 1 hint so far. And I personally think that identifying an image is a lot easier than identifying a quote. Also a character getting guessed quickly in the char guessing game isn't an indicator of how popular a show is among the users here. It was just an easy pic then. I posted a full face pic of Levi from Attack on Titan once on char guessing game and the Vaisaga incorrectly guessed it and that was fairly shortly after it had aired so it was fresh on everyone's mind. The character just didn't look like he usually does, which is what made it difficult.
