Any fellow OORers here?
I'm really late to the party having just gotten into them at the very end of last year but boy am I hooked. In the last 7 months alone, bye-bye $1.5K. >__>;
I love the band's music and their lyrics really resonate. They've helped me get through tough times at work and still continue to do so. I'm sad I didn't get into them sooner since I would have loved to see them perform in smaller live houses instead of only the huge venues that they do now. (But those are cool too!)
I first saw them live at Tokyo Dome this year, and my second time was at Dead Pop Festival earlier this month. I'll see them again at ELLEGARDEN's Marine Stadium concert which I was going to go to anyway because I'm absolutely psyched for ELLEGARDEN's return, but the announcement of OOR as the guest act was icing on the cake and I'm ecstatic over the chance of seeing my two favorite bands together. I'm crossing my fingers for Shin-kiba tickets since that will probably be the only chance to see OOR in a live house for the foreseeable future. Their live performances are so energetic.
I also really admire all the members, especially Taka. I love how they just set their sights on something and then go do it without paying mind to any criticism they may get. I sincerely hope they'll make it big in the U.S. someday.
I've had trouble finding places online to discuss the band without having to deal with people posting or asking for links to downloads and other stuff, but hope there will be like-minded people here to chat about this awesome band.

How does it fare on Nintendo's portable device?― El Shaddai: Ascension of the Metatron was a curious game when it released in 2011. Manhwa is starting to find its footing in American comic book sphere, but it's not just another version of "manga." Find out what makes Korean comics unique.― The door to English-translated manga opened in the 1980s, and despite some fits and starts, essentially never looked back. Manhwa, or Korean comics, have had a much more troubled journey to popular visibility in English. Around 2006, manhwa be...

Ultimately, my biggest problem with Shaman King Flowers is that it mostly just feels like a set-up to a much larger story that has yet to actually happen.― [Warning, this review will contain major spoilers for the ending of Shaman King (2021)] If there's one thing that can be counted on with battle shonen properties, it's that any of them that go on long enough will inevitably get some sequel series...

The Grimm Variations is one of those shows that tries. It almost tries too hard, and the result is that some of the tales are beyond recognition, while others play it too safe.― At the end of The Grimm Variations, Charlotte, the real-life younger sister of the Brothers Grimm (who were, in fact, only two of many Grimm brothers), remarks that she would like to see fairy tales where the protagonists ar...
The critically-acclaimed historical drama captivated audiences, but if you're craving more battle tactics and court intrigue, these anime will scratch your Shogun itch.― For the past couple of months, it's been hard to ignore the loud promotion of Disney+/Hulu's mega-budget Shogun.
