I was browsing again and looked at the release dates for the second volumes of these two. Its in January!!
I don't want to sound impatient but a series as long as berserk at a 3 month interval would take 6 years to catch up where it is in japan. Not that it has to catch up but I hope we see an increase in date releases

Gack... I had no idea! I`ve been watching Dark Horse carefully since about 4 years ago, when they picked up the licence for Berserk, but kept saying they wouldn`t release it. Infact it was said that it was picked up by them so that it COULDN`T be released here. When did they change their minds? It seems like, I step out of the country and suddenly, a whole deluge of stuff (the Excel Saga manga, now this) suddenly appears. What's with that.
As far as catching up... Berserk is still coming out here in Japan, (I think) so it would take longer, you know what I mean? Maybe they also don't wanna overestimate the fan base to begin with also.

Publishers only. Same story as up to about episode 18, then the anime diverged.

Actually, Shonen Gashouha did bought the rights for the original Trigun in 2000.
They republished the 3 original trigun volumes into 2 volumes.
So, they wont have no problems getting Trigun Maximum since Shonen Gashouha OWNS both Trigun and Trigun Maximum.
