The DVD screenshots have been upscaled(really the only way to compare), which any GPU that supports shaders can do(and leaving it up to the TV or monitor is generally a bad idea). They're also vertically stretched, which might be a side effect of anamorphic widescreen.

Most bluray players also automatically upscale dvd's

But PMMM has an awful dub. Drrr got a better treatment to the voice actors they picked. The females in PMMM sound dull

I can't really say. I don't watch enough English dubbing to really give proper feedback, but I thought the cast Madoka sounded good to me. The voice actress who played Kyubey did a great job. My girlfriend and I loved the DRRR!! dub. At first I wasn't wanting to watch it but she talked me into it (but promised that our second time around it would be in Japanese!) Patrick Seitz as Simon Brezhnev is one of our favorites. We can do some awesome impressions lol.
EDIT: Cassandra Lee as Kyubey. I should remember these things haha.

Madoka's dub definitely started out rough, but I always felt they had the emoting down pretty well. By the time things started going down, the cast seemed to have found their stride in my opinion.

She also was Squid Girl, I hated her voice acting int that show, too. I hate her voice, she sounds dull and puts no energy behind her acting.

Wrong. Christine Marie Cabanos is Squid Girl. She's also Madoka, as well as Azusa from K-on.
I also dislike her voice. But I do like Cassandra Lee.
Also, for everyone praising the Durarara!! dub, two words: Darrel Guilbeau.
Never before has one man almost single-handedly ruined an otherwise solid dub for me.

I'm actually ok with that. I was just thinking how expensive a month this was gonna be with both Bakemonogatari and Garden of Sinners coming out, so it KnK is getting pushed back to next month, that's fine by me.
