I've not watched the movie version of the show, but my sibling has, and he tells me it's not much. However, I personally feel that the TV series is a masterpiece.
I've never been a sci-fan fan but this show is still easy to understand. Don't be expecting much comedy as well, as this is a pretty serious drama with character developments, but still engaging enough to make you continue watching with each episode. (God, all the sleepless nights this series caused when I went "just one more episode to bedtime..") There are certainly some plot twists reminding me of Code Geass but most of all, it's the characters and how they work towards their future that make the show fantastic. |
