Wow, it's already beaten Kon's other films.

I remember showing up to that movie opening weekend with my Dad and little brother and seeing the number of people really surprised me. After seeing what the fans were really like it compelled both my Dad and I to sell our complete first edition Pokemon sets....best move I've made in a long time.

I'm hoping to catch it during a visit to LA at the end of the month, but if it doesn't fit in my schedule, I'm seeing it in Sacramento, even if it means going by myself.

Woot, Me and my friend are going to see it tomorrow, can't wait. Question though, anyone know whether its english or Japanese with sub? The theatre its playing at has frequently played japanese with subs so I'm hoping.

As far as I know, there is no dub yet for this movie. IMDB's cast/VA list is all Japanese. And the trailer was subbed, as well.

Even better, it survived more than 1 week in my area. Of course, for me it's travelling more than 100 miles to get to that theater. Crying or Very sad If gas prices stay down and I wake up in time, I can catch it at cheap rate and possibly see Labrynth also. Smile

So far there's only subs available and I don't think that Sony has any plans to put a dub on this disc. Much like other Kon films that don't have dubs available.

To quote the news.

Paprika Widens
While Paprika originally opened on the 25th of May it's been opening in more theaters since then. LA opened on the first and has since then added more theaters. Also the news said that it opens in Canada and was being screened on more theaters and to check your local listings.

I have pretty good success with http://www.movietickets.com/ or http://www.fandango.com/ if it's playing near me most of the time one of the sites will have tickets available less the film is playing in an art house.
