I started a Samurai Champloo website.
Information is pretty rare so the website is not in it's best days right now.
The layout pretty much sucks too but I plan to make the website more extensive.

You can visit it here:

If I'm not mistaken, advertising personal websites is a no-no too.

Why would it be? It's just showing your love for a certain thing. But, if it is indeed against the forum rules, then a moderator can do something about this thread.

It's not actually against teh rules right now. So I'm unlocking the thread. Even though I suspect that locking it may have been the better idea.

Teh rules say no advertising a website in your early posts, and no advertising for commercial websites. This was neither, Kyo's been around for quite a while, and his site definitely isn't commercial.

But to be honest, I don't look forward to the idea of having people starting threads just to advertise their websites. I highly prefer that that sort of thing be brought up in existing coversations if they exist.

Now, I expect some damn good conversation in here about Kyo's website... my youngest cat is called Kyo.

It doesn't like me much. Sad I get hot bot web results instead of a Samurai Champloo site. Sad I want info.

It's a good start. Not much to go on right now, but I'm sure there will be more information soon. I am looking forward to this series. I like the fact that it's a little different from what the norm in anime is. The red text is a bit hard to read when it carries across your side border thing...

There is the www button at the bottom of every users post (right next to profile and pm), although admittedly it is not really a good way to get people to notice your site. And in this case Kyo has a different website for that space anyway.

Very nice site. I like the border and the color's.

no offense, but isn't it very pointless to even make a website at this point in time? i mean there's still almost no information whatsoever.

Acutally, that is the point, nothing wrong with being the first.

It's not pointless.
I am starting early with the website.
Samurai Champloo seems like a very interesting series, thus I am going to keep up to date with it and hope to bring more information about the series in the English language. I know it's hard to find information right now but I am going to to try my best in time.

My apologies Kyo, I thought that was a no-no. Carry on and good luck with the site!
