Also, Sankaku style on the title, I thought there was actually gonna be Miku in the game and got really excited, now I'm only kind of excited

I like the idea of Miku outfits as DLC, but this is a bit much...

This article was posted over 48 hours before Namco Bandai Games posted the first video showing Hatsune Miku. So, we included a different video to demonstrate the game's other features.

So... Japan officially has no use for a 360 again, right? I'm pretty sure Idolmaster was the only 'exclusive' that was selling?

Yes, Idolmaster 1 from what I can ascertain was only released for XBOX360.

Idolmaster 2 (Which will be released October 27, 2011). Appears to only be available for PS3.

If there is a 2, I believe this will be a sequel of the original. I doubt this is a remake of the first game.

As the article notes, Hatsune Miku herself will be in the game, via downloadable content.

The Idolm@ster (the original game) was first an arcade game before the Xbox 360 version came out.

The Idolm@ster 2 game that will be released on October 27 is actually a PlayStation 3 port of The Idolm@ster 2 game for the Xbox 360 that shipped in February.
