Hey, no worries. In all honesty though, if it's only been a week since your request, I think you should wait more than just one more week before starting any legal actions. I can't be 100% sure, but I really don't think you'll see your refund for at least another 3-4 weeks.
I understand that you are anxious. PiQ is run by basically the same staff as NTUSA, so you can take solace that they aren't some fly-by-night scam artists that took our subscription money and then disappeared to parts unknown. I'm highly confident that you, and everyone else who wants one, will get a refund.
As for me, I can see great potential. Magazines need time to grow and evolve, so I'm going to let my subscription ride.
One last thing:
Is it just me? Or did anyone else fell kinda depressed after watching that idiotic "Animeroot burning video"? Sometimes I truly weep for the future. |
No and yes, should he have burnt the PIQ mag? No. They are asking for our help in directing the zines growth, but I can understand his anger. He, like I, wanted a magazine about anime not a Wizard clone. I am willing to give the magazine a chance, but reluctantly so, only because it doesn't seem like it caters to me. Selfish or not anime fans are the foundation of their customer base, and with magazine's like Wizard they should be willing to focus more on us. I have yet to read it though, so I am just going to wait and read it for myself. |
