Respectfully, there is likewise something that will hurt their bottom line: Originial material which parents may discover and complain about, a la Sailor Moon Season Five. I haven't seen TMM, but I'm guessing that if anything is left uncut which a responsible parent objects to, they will object vocally and do their darndest to get the item off the air--and thereby remove the acquisition as a serious money maker in the American children's show business.

I have seen (and read) Tokyo Mew Mew, and it is extremely sanitary. G Rating all across the board. The bad guys get attacked with non-physical magical attacks named after FRUIT, then bad guy goes poof. The only way it could get any less violent than that is if the magical attacks compel the bad guys to suddenly become good guys who want to eat cake and sing kum-by-yah.

That's great to hear. However, what is the dialogue like? I've come across plenty of shows where little jokes, threats, and statements; both visual and audible; could do far more damage than any violence the original contained. Dragon Ball (the original) is a good example.

Now, both Dragon Ball and SM season 5 are rather extreme examples, but keep in mind that the sheer existance of an "uncut, unedited!" box right their next to the kid-friendly 4Kids items are going to raise some eyebrows, especially if they are rated even slightly differently.
