Great review, there's only one little thing that bugged me:

I think this was kind of unfair to compare a movie to tv series, yet alone low budget sentai series. There are other liveaction anime movie adaptions, Casshern, and Boogipop Phantom are some of them. Cutie Honey probably only looks better because it had a movie budget.

Actually, the Boogiepop live-action movie was an adaptation of the book Phantom was a spinoff of, not on Phantom itself.
But yeah, Casshern looks like it'll be a much better movie than Cutie Honey. Honestly, if it wasn't directed by Hideako Anno, would anyone in America care?

No one other then the few fanboys out there who like the original series, and last I checked, Cutie wasn't that popular here.
