Snuggle Steiff's Black Butler Ciel Teddy Bear for US$387

The Aniplex+ online store revealed a high-end teddy bear inspired by the Kuroshitsuji: Book of the Atlantic anime film character Ciel Phantomhive on Friday. German toymaker Steiff is producing the high-quality plush that costs 43,000 yen (about US$387).

The teddy bear will wear Ciel's trademark eye patch and blue-and-black striped vest. Like all of the German company's plush toys, the Ciel bear will come in a Steiff box and include a certificate with serial number. The mohair teddy will be about 27 centimeters (about 11 inches) tall.

The teddy bear will go on sale on Saturday, and it is slated to ship in the middle of October. Steiff is producing a limited number of the bears, and orders are limited to three per person.
The Kuroshitsuji: Book of the Atlantic film opened in Japan on January 21.
Other characters Steiff has released as high-end plush include Totoro, Pikachu, Yotsuba&!'s Juralumin, Hatsune Miku, Hello Kitty, and Godzilla.
