See Early Motion Capture Techniques in Lost Behind-The-Scenes Video from Silent Hill 2

A video showing the early motion capture techniques used to make Konami's ground-breaking horror video game Silent Hill 2 was recently rediscovered by actor Guy Chihi, who voiced and did the motion capture for the game's protagonist, James Sunderland.
Chihi posted the video on his official You Tube page, saying in the comments, "It was lost in storage for more than 15 years. I only found it because two years ago I converted the old Hi8 family video tapes to DVDs in advance of my daughter's wedding. And even then, at just 3 min., it remained elusive until just about two weeks ago."
The beginning of the video shows the final product of the motion capture scene from the video game, and the motion capture footage can be seen from about five minutes in. The video contains major spoilers from Silent Hill 2, so anyone who hasn't yet played the game may want to wait to watch it until they have.
According to the comments on the video, in addition to Guy Chihi, translator Jeremy Blaustein, producer Akihiro Imamura, and drama director/animator Murakoshi Suguru can also be seen in the behind-the-scenes footage.
Silent Hill 2 was released in September 2001 and is available on PlayStation 2, Xbox, and PC. A remastered version of the game was released as part of the Silent Hill HD Collection for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in 2012. The game was highly acclaimed and is considered by many to be one of the greatest horror games of all time.
