Noda is founding member of READY TO KISS idol group, acted in Corpse Party live-action film

Singer Hitomi Noda announced last Friday that she will "graduate" from her idol group READY TO KISS and will retire from the entertainment industry. She will have her last live performance with READY TO KISS at the Shibuya Club Quatro on June 28.

Noda issued a statement regarding her retirement, saying "My decision to graduate from Ready Kiss came after much contemplation. While I only have a limited time left with my Ready Kiss colleagues, I am going to give the rest of my time my all, and give my fans a performance to remember. I would love for everyone to come to Shibuya Club Quatro on June 28th and see my last live performance."

Noda is one of the founding members of READY TO KISS, alongside Sakino Chiba, Aoi Nagafuji, Rena Kobayashi, and Anju Ichinose (the latter three left the group between 2014 and 2016). The five singers founded the group in 2013. The current members include Noda and Chiba, as well as Ayuko Uehara, Koto Sakai, Sayana Ōkawa, and Reina Kiyokawa. The group signed on with MAGES.' Stand-Up! Records label in 2015, and released their debut single "Top Secret ~Setsunai Gokuhijikō~" in the same year.

Noda played the character Mitsuki Yamamoto in the Corpse Party Book of Shadows live-action film in 2016.

READY TO KISS will also perform in a concert at Shinjuku BLAZE on July 5.
