Pacific Media Expo's Fan Made Vocaloid Concert Returns
LOS ANGELES, CA -- Pacific Media Expo will be holding an unofficial concert featuring the virtual divas Hatsune Miku, Gumi,Yuzuki Yukari, and other Vocaloid characters. Presented by Synthesized Reality Productions, the concert will be free for all badge holders but there is a $1 processing fee for all tickets. The concert will be from 4:30 - 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, November 9th.
As an animated persona from the singing synthesis program Vocaloid, Hatsune Miku became known throughout Japan after her “live” debut in August of 2009. With over 50,000 songs created each year by her users, she has since gained worldwide recognition, become an international pop sensation, and is one of the most popular characters in Japanese anime pop culture today.

VOCALOID is a vocal synthesizing program that is produced by Yamaha, now in its 3rd installment. VOCALOID allows musicians to produce singing vocals, as a stand-in for or alternative to human singers.
