Square Enix Unveils Minna de Spelunker Z for PS4

Square Enix announced its PlayStation 4 download title Minna de Spelunker Z at the Tōkaigi 2015 event on Saturday. It will debut on March 19 as a free-to-play game with in-game purchases.

The game is the latest title in the action franchise Spelunker that dates back to the Famicom days in 1983. Square Enix presented a video that demonstrates that up to six people can play in online multiplay. The game supports character customization, and pets can assist players on their adventures.

Square Enix had teased the game with a "Project Code Z" website. Here is musician Gackt attempting to survive in the original Spelunker in his online Game Center series:
