Seven Seas Licenses A Tokyo School Girl's Guide to Surviving the Zombie Apocalypse

Seven Seas Entertainment announced on Thursday that it has licensed the illustrated book Land of the Rising Dead: A Tokyo School Girl's Guide to Surviving the Zombie Apocalypse (Zombie Survival). The company plans to release the book in North America on October 11 in a single volume.
The book is a "survival guide" that follows four high school girls and provides information on zombies. The illustrations and manga pages are in black and white with eight color pages.
The book is illustrated by Freddy Sakazaki and written by Dai Akagane, Wataru Niisawa, Norimitsu Kaihō, and Morihiro Matsushiro. Ikaros Publications released the book in Japan on July 18.
In addition, Seven Seas announced on Thursday that it will release a version of Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice with illustrations by Shiei (Amazing Agent Luna) on December 20, 2016.

Unlike Udon Entertainment's Manga Classics Pride and Prejudice, which adapts the story into a manga, Seven Seas' release will be the full text of the original novel with manga-style illustrations. Seven Seas released Lewis Carrol's Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass in the same manner, and is also planning a release of The Wizard of Oz.
