Does getting a OVA, and having the first season getting a re run mean we won't get a new season soon? Just curious..

Most likely the second season will get air around Winter 2017 ( the earliest) or Spring 2017.

current expectations are that season 2 will air Spring of 2017. MHA's timeslot (the "Nichigo" sunday block) is currently reserved for the 2nd season of Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans, which is expected to run for 2 cour. The only way it could air sooner is if
a) MHA switches to a different time slot - considering it didn't have spectacular ratings this is a possibility, but not a hugely probable one
b) Gundam IBO is just 1-cour rather than 2, and MHA returns for Winter 17. Again not particularly likely since nearly every other Gundam TV series has been 50 episodes by the end.
