I'm glad that they will simulcast it since probably nobody wanted to sub it anyways!

Wait a second I thought Funimation was getting at the dubs now? Why is Crunchyroll announcing a new dub barely a week after that announcement while Funimation just shut down its subbed sectioned. Seems fishy and weird.

Your Lie in April doesn't belong to CR it belongs to Aniplex U.S so CR can still add dubs from other companies and Funimation will only dub shows that CR gets home video rights for

First, Your Lie in April is an Aniplex of America title, not a Funimation title, and I'd assume that CR's negotiations with AoA to stream the dub were finalized or close to finalized before the partnership announcement came out.
Second, the announcements confirmed that CR and Funi would be sharing titles that both companies have licensed themselves, but it didn't say anything about titles licensed by other companies, except for an oblique mention in one of the releases about "the opportunity for other licensors to work with both companies" (or words to that effect). CR can't just hand over the dub of an AoA or Sentai show to Funi without all three companies being agreeable to it, and even if the third company was open to discussing such an idea (which they may not be), there'd still be lots of negotiations and contracts and details to work out.

Good. More people will get the chance to listen to the great English dub for Your Lie in April. And I am glad to see that Crunchyroll is still interested in adding English dubbed versions of shows.

No, I've not seen an expiraiton date for Your Lie in April, Aniplex tends to stream the dub on multiple sites.

Will Heybot! be included in Crunchyroll/Funimation simuldub deal? As a kids anime, it's given that more people will be interested in dubs then subs and if they'll dub it, it may even get chances on TV.

I doubt it to be honest. Don't mean to burst your bubble, but since the series is a kids anime and will most likely consist of a lot of Japanese word puns, Crunchyroll and FUNimation won't invest in doing a simuldub for it.
