If it's a couple of extra scenes tacked on at the end, then that's pretty standard. If it's a completely different ending to the story, though, then I'm not quite sure what to think.

my favorite extra tankubon ending has tobe pretyt face, nto only did we get an onsen special, actually the onsen special is far less relevant to the 5+ pages detailing the other possible alternate endings and all the chapter ideas that did not make it to the manga.

I'm honestly mixed on this. If it creates even more questions with such ambiguity then it'll just get people to overthink to themselves "holy shit sequel?!?!?", which will never happen.
20th CB got pretty meh after the timeskip but I'd read the new ending definitely, just don't exactly see the point of it though. |

Probably another 10 pages-ish epilogue and 20 Seiki Shounen no Wakiyaku is technically set after this manga. The 3rd film had an original ending too, so nothing much to see here.
The last few pages of the manga were amazing btw. so i remain a happy customer either way. |
