Aww, I was hoping Dezaki would return. I just hope that Tezuka's kid can direct. Remember what happened last time Fukasaku's kid was allowed to work on a successful series?

It's so great to see a sequal to an orignal series made by an author that died long ago. It's like Osamu Tezuka's spirit lives on in next generation of animation viewers.

Huzzah! Very Happy This is great news! It should be awesome to see a feature-length movie about the rivalry between Black Jack and Kiriko. I know I am very, very happy about that since I've wanted to see more Kiriko for a long time now.

Oh, man! Those two together should make for a very interesting movie, indeed! Anime hyper

I wish they would make a new ova based on the Original Black Jack OVA movies that were actually "good" unlike the crappy tv series toned down for kids. Granted, I only watched the first episode of the tv series, but it looked like crap, like Metropolis with weird character designs. Please, God, let them make Black Jack the way I remembered him all those years ago Sad

jc: I think BJ is the only manga from Tezuka I've seen that uses realistic art. So it would definitely ruin it, if they super-deformed the hell out of it.

I just recently got into this series. I watch fansubs so I checked out the latest series on in Japan and that led me to watch the old 96 movie and a few of the old volumes as well. I look forward to this new movie! Cool
