That depends. Clearly she's the type of person that would sacrifice her humanity to make others happy.
Sadly, this kind of "deeper meaning" (i don't think it was hidden at all) seems to go over the head of all the haters that claim the series has no substance.

He does know that magical boys do exist, right...? Isn't Tuxedo Mask considered a magical boy? Or is he just a prince?
If he isn't considered a magical boy, there's the boys from Shugo Chara!.
While we're on this topic, are there any other manga/anime that have magical boys? I'm curious. I know there's also Binan Koukou Chikyuu Bouei-bu LOVE!, but I always considered that more of a parody on the genre since it was so ridiculous.

He was basically saying that his wife wanted to be a magical girl and he couldn't become a magical girl, but while they had their dreams and realities, Madoka saved all actual magical girls. I think.
