I've also heard that CN Australia is airing Gundam SEED on Adult Swim. Can anyone confirm this?

Awesome, Samurai Champloo on SBS! That oughta burst the 'anime is weirdo crap like Yu-gi-oh that only kids understand' perception people have.
Although they'll probably put it on at some ridiculously late time. T-T

Yeah, because Evangelion, Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex and various Ghibli films were hardly exposure.

Most of the new titles that were announced are fairly bleh, and well... you know, it's all kinda underwhelming. Hoping the boys love junk fails.

I'm guessing that Samurai Champloo will take over Ghost In The Shell's timeslot of 10:10pm Thursdays.

It would be even nicer if SBS aired full metal Alchemist, but I don't see that happening yet. Oh well, it's all good.

Just curious: are you guys getting the full length OPs for Gundam SEED? I don't think any market outside of Japan has yet.

I think we are, yeah, as we're showing it uncut rather than the US Toonami version.

Also finding it hilarious that One Piece essentially isn't coming out until atleast May, which pretty much mucks up their word of "early 2006!"

Well, Bandai gave YTV the uncut version, but it still got the 30 second shortened version of Invoke. I guess they thought YTV couldn't handle bouncing space boobs.

Actually, you guys have always gotten a lot on TV traditionally, but you were in a bit of a slump for a couple of years. But with GitS, FMA, Gundam SEED, and Samurai Champloo all flying at you, you guys are definitely back on track again.

Compare that to Canada where no station even wants to touch FMA...
