Between this, the new GITS anime, the Blade Runner anime, and Eva coming to Netflix, 2019 is going to be a big year for sci-fi anime.

Well, this could be nice I guess. I like the old-school vibe I'm getting from the visual but... is there any reason why she's naked? I mean, this doesn't look like your standard ecchi-fanservice stuff so I'm a bit confused. Anyone familiar with the source material ? Confused

Well it is a Manga, soon to be Anime, so there's the main reason. Maybe there is some camouflage feature like in GITS as an in-universe reason.

Thanks. Now that you mention it, I do remember seeing a lot of GITS visuals featuring a naked/camouflaged major so it makes sense...

Looks interesting. I haven't been watching lately unfortunately. This certainly warrants a viewing. I didn't know they were starting up GITS again
