Just throwin' this out there.. but wasn't the anime already released in America? Could be a different one than the one I'm thinking of, but it sounds the same. It's the crappy kids' anime about kids hitting their balls against other kids' balls. Or something to that effect. Either way: crap.

They do when they're shot out of little robots!

Those figure kits are addictive... Anime smallmouth + sweatdrop

It's about time! The show's future was kindan uncertain when it was bouncing between ABC Family/Toon Disney,G4 and Cartoon Network.

I heard it aired on G4 but checked their morning schedule and never saw anything except Beast wars, etc.

and yes this is the sequel to the 1st series.

Did the first season ever get finished on any of the networks it's been shown on? I know they kept yanking it without showing the last couple episodes when it was on ABC Family and Toon Disney, and I don't think they ever got that far in the series on Cartoon Network, and I doubt G4 showed the end.

It still is (official announcement or not)...

No, it didn't. This same fate also befell Medabots and Beyblade (although T-DISN actually did complete the final Beyblade series).

I don't know who has the Fire Spirits, but whoever acquired the broadcast rights has some nerve. We need to see the finale of the first series BEFORE we see the second.

FYI: "Crash B-Daman" is airing in Japan right now. It has a different story and characters, and I believe is a different universe/continuity as well.

Oh, yeah. In the Japanese version of Fire Spirits, all of the episodes were given the Japanese names of popular film titles (or something related to them; the first episode is called "When you Wish Upon a Star" after the song from Disney's Pinocchio, and since my nose isn't longer, that means I'm not lying...).
