Does this franchise still have a romantic side? For some reason I thought that they gradually abandoned this.

Pretty sure the games always had that dating sim aspect though the only one I've ever played was So Long My Love (Sakura Wars V) and never finished it. Maybe the anime never really delved into the romance but I've only ever seen the series and movie so can't speak for the OVAs on that. |

I don't like the changes, mostly the real time combat so I'm going to wait on this game on sale. Also I assume there will be no dub, not a huge deal but a little disappointing since I loved the dub for Sakura Wars V.
