Why not have Jenya play as the heroine, since they are both Russian?

Sumire Uesaka being a Russophile and voicing an actual Russian girl is kind of neat.

I wonder if they'll keep that for a future anime adaption...

What with Japanese always drawing Russians with white hair?? Absolutely no one except old people has white hair here

I guess for Japanese it's a visual shorthand like blonde is for American/British.
