I barely know who Corpse Husband is so casting him in a dub doesn't really do much for me. Hell if it was someone like Piotr Michael or Jason J. Lewis was making their dubbing debut then I would actually be excited. I'm assuming at the very least his casting will bring a few more eyes to the dub which was probably ADR Director's goal at the end of the day.

You think? I mean, this is the same timeline where Evangelion finally gets a Blu-Ray release, Discotek saves several thought-to-be-lost anime from eternal obscurity, dubs included, Macross's licensing issues are mostly over, and GunBuster finally getting an English dub after years of nothing. |

I don't even know what happened; I used to listen to him reading creepy pastas and viewer-submitted horror fiction back around 2016/17, then he went on hiatus due to his health. Then over the last few years as I've been using twitter more often I see his name trending all the time, but he doesn't do the story-reading anymore. A lot of it seems like some weird super intense fandom based on his voice...? I'm glad he's doing other stuff I guess.

Feel like he gotten pretty big lately due to when everyone was playing Among Us. That how I found out about him, at least. In terms of design though it's almost uncanny how much this character seems perfect for him, without knowing personality or anything. Like, Christ, the [expletive] looks of the character literally screams Corpse Husband. |

Dude's voice is insane, so I'm glad that he got this opportunity. From the sneak peak he uploaded on his twitter you can tell he sounds pretty great.

This is…Weird. But in a good way. It’s the same feeling I got when I found out JubyPhonic, Sapphire, Y.Chang and AmaLee were voice actors. Or (to a more personal extent) when someone I knew back in college suddenly started voicing side characters in Funimation dubs.
I was always familiar with their earlier and more amateur stuff, so seeing them go pro hits different. Not to say I knew knew CorpseHusband, but I subscribed to him years ago. All the way back when he was doing True Horror/Horror Reddit Post narrations. I always saw him as just another horror narrator. Just…Wow |

Never heard of Corpse Husband, but from a quick search, he sounds really similar to Hamano Daiki. Interesting, their range is both unusually low with passive growling.

I'm not familiar with this series, but am super happy that when I looked it up that I immediately saw a character that made me go "Oh my gosh. That's him." and it's exactly who Corpse is voicing. I am excited to see the first dub trailer for this!! Lol

He started to make music over the last few years and that really blew him up on social media. I really didn't know who he was until his song "E-girls are ruining my life" went viral. That's when the fandom over his voice went into high gear. Good for him dudes got a killer voice. |

Gumball like in The Amazing World of Gumball? I don't know if this sounds crazy but in Latin Spanish Gumball's voice actress also voices characters like Naruto. As for Tribe Nine, Funimation also premiered the dub in Spanish, some of their latest Spanish dubs were pretty, like the one they did for Soul Eater and My Dress-Up Darling, maybe I'll give it a watch to this one as well. |
