I like Tsuda Kenjiro. But I'm sick of him being the lead in every Netflix anime now.

Uhm, he was the lead in 2 so far, not every single one you know.

That's three shows within the span of about a year. And then if you cut out all the shows that don't have an adult male lead where he can be put there and Yasuke, that's basically all of them.

That's a an overly pedantic statement. 3 in a span of a year doesn't mean every Netflix show. I don't see him as the lead of Kotaro Lives Alone and Child of Kamiari Month, so...

The problem with TsudaKen is that he has a tendency to phone it in these days, especially when he's in a kind of role that he's done so often he could probably do one while asleep. It's getting to the point where instead of doing a role he just does "Tsuda Kenjirou doing his thing" and the most thought or effort he puts into it is mostly related to how much he chews the scenery. (Also see: why I've been sick and tired of Miyano Mamoru for a long while now.)

This role, though, is quite different from the ones he gets pigeonholed in all the time, so I hope he'll do OK.

...Pretty sure you are the one who started and twisted the meaning of the comment.

Looks fun, will definitely watch. Same energy as Bessatsu Olympia Kyklos, and I liked that one.

Wait wait wait. All the episodes will have original plots. Why? My interest levels now dropped by quite a bit. The perfectly fine 2012 mini-series is only 3 eps long. Nearly all of the manga is unadapted in anime form and there is a bit of an ongoing plot with a definitive ending. The last third is focused on a romance plot btw. Well, likely not on Netflix.

Considering what a dumpster fire the 1st series was this 2nd one will probably be a steaming pile of bullshit. Netflix is really acting like a giant bully lately-stealing Denno Coil from Sentai and looking for any other opportunities to get anything it can by hook or crook.

Sentai is the licensor for the blu-ray version of Denno Coil. The one on Netflix is digital.

I know that but the core truth of my statement still holds true.
