I remember being quite surprised when I learned that he did the character designs for Double Decker! Doug & Kirill . Video Girl Ai was my very first exposure to Katsura’s work. I also had the pleasure of getting to meet him at the second Katsucon where he signed my volume 1 of Video Girl Ai

One of the true living legends and I wish I could go. Video Girl Ai has panels that to this day are absolutely breathtaking. I was lucky enough to meet him and get two sketches at SDCC 20 years ago or so.

I admit I snickered a little when I saw how the pose of girl in the picture is basically showing off her T&A to the camera, especially with the two-color scheme accentuating it.

I've never seen Video Girl Ai, is it that good?

Congrats to him, always a fan of Wingman. Most interesting, I never realized he did work on IRIA which also happens to be one of my favorite show.
