They had one job, and they couldn't even do that right.

Oh well, Pillows or no Pillows, I'm still watching this one through. Because I like to live dangerously when it comes to my anime.

Honestly I am more excited about the possibility of the manga getting re-released in new omnibus volumes than I am for the adaptation. And frankly from the looms of the trailer I do not think I am missing much from the adaptation. It is Shaman King 2021 all over again.

Man, look at how hard they murdered an AotY candidate. I can't imagine what kinds of terrible crimes Mizukami must have committed in his previous life for the anime industry to hate him this much.

Bold of you to assume that Seven Seas would actually reprint something.

The animation is fine, it's just panel pose heavy. Clothes rippling, hair flowing... static figure... that's a lot of work to do nothing.

Seeing how that's a theme of the series, I don't have a problem with it.

lol shaman king's remake looked better than this to be fair also the author will be involved with writing the script so it's not over yet.

No offence, but I'm not surprised committees get away with subpar quality each season when people deem this fine.

The animation definitely isn't very...lively, but the voice work and material might make up for it.

Personally, I'm much more concerned with the quality of this adaptation's writing than I am with the quality of the animation. One of Mizukami's greatest strengths is pacing, and I could see it being easy to screw that up.

That trailer looked rough alright; but Mizukami's writing was always the stronger point than his art, so hopefully that proves true for this adaptation as well.
