Was never really a big fan of most KyoAni shows. With a few exceptions I find they tend to make stellar episodes and moments but with the entire series/movie ending up meh overall once the final credits roll, often leaving me disappointed. This one though is strange. It's "average" or perhaps "unambitious" (for lack of a better word) all throughout its run, but left quite the impression on me once it's over. I'm really happy it gets a follow-up, though I'm really satisfied at the way the series ended.
