I'm surprised there aren't more erotic yakuza stories. Though of a lighter tone, Way of the Househusband got me curious about it.

There's a fair few (ie Yakuza Lover) but I believe this is the first one being adapted and most are unlicensed in manga form

Yeah, feels like I've been hearing more about Yakuza romances or erotic manga.

There's a ton of yakuza themed TL, I keep seeing them popping up all the time. They're just not getting anime adaptations.
(TL is not my cup of tea but I got curious and checked out a semi-TL - I guess, since it's not really porny and it's published by Kodansha - and it was actually hilarious, intentionally, even - at least in part, but the whole thing is not taking itself extremely seriously. If anyone is curious it's "Chou ka han ka" by Toriumi Pedro, the title is a riff on the proverb "chou yo, hana yo" which ended up morphing into the word "chiyahoya".)
Also, by the way the translation and romanization of the title is again showing ANN's lack of standards.

1. This is still "medemashou ka" and not "ai demashou ka". "Ai demashou" makes no sense! Hell, look up "愛でる" in a dictionary if you don't believe me.
2. "Now let's take our time to love her"? This sounds like Sazanami is the girl in an, er, multiple-partner erotic scenario... This should say "Now I'll take my sweet time to love you" or something sleazy like that.

I've seen a few yakuza love stories here and there. However, I'm looking for ones where the men are more... rugged.
