America is not ready for the awesomeness that is Emma. I loved this anime dearly would even consider buying it. I don't however see it ever being on TV, it's really not the type show to garner a large following or have people rave over it in big droves. But it's better that way, being a somewhat more obscure title, the last thing we'd want is little tweens liking it, although that is impossible.

I'm losing direction here, either way, good anime, hope people go watch the screen.

Probably good news about the lack of dub. We don't need another anime with British characters and bad, American-attempting-a-British-accent accents, which would have most likely defined the final product.

I actually would have really liked it if they had decided to dub this anime. For the most part, people don't have to deal with buying one or the other, sub or dub, since most anime dvds include both versions - if you like one over the other, no one's forcing you to watch a version you don't like. I think, if it were done well, an English dub for this anime could actually make it better, considering the setting.

I haven't seen any fansubs, so I don't know what the anime is like, but I'm enjoying the manga and plan on buying the anime when I finally manage to get a job that pays more than I have to spend per month on necessities (unfortunately food and shelter are more of a necessity than anime). Considering the price of both seasons together (about $75 dollars right now at RightStuf), despite my desire for an English dub, I'm hoping the company doesn't decide to change its mind months from now and release a version with a dub. That'd just be evil...

Hither twice. A Hellsing-esque dub would be a discredit to the attention to detail with respect to the setting.
