This is good news, hopefully someone will pick up the rest of the titles I would like to read. I just wonder who?

That's wonderful news that they are trying to make rescue deals already and they're getting the materials together. It's extremely sad that they didn't have more customers given the level of fan-care this shows. (It also helps them in business but still, this sort of thing is very helpful to fans.)

I'm impressed that they've taken this step to try and help out fans. Here's hoping their efforts to find other outlets for their projects succeed.

Here’s to a hopeful rescue of their titles, especially Pandora Hearts and Nui!. Smile

It's touching that they're bothering at all, really. But my opinion of them has skyrocketed regardless (not that it does much good in the long run).

Despite closing, Broccoli is still trying to get rescue deal with the books, I wonder how many will be saved?

I bet only the best selling books will be saved though, so I wouldn't be surprized if Honoka, Nui or other new series won't be saved.

I wonder if those Di Gi Charat Adventure manga volumes will EVER be pubished. You know, those ones that hang around places like Rightstuf with a planned date of '2012' (aka 'we have no idea if/when this will EVER be released.... but apparently it was planned) 0_O

All I can say is this: Someone had BETTER rescue E'S. (I've only got the first two volumes, and haven't been able to find the rest of it anywhere.)

I hope someone comes in and rescues them all... There are just too many titles to just plain drop...

This is very good news!

I hope that someone picks up E's. I waited years for this series to be licensed, and I've got to know how it ends (the animes ending was awful). Anyone read the original Japanese manga whose willing to spoil the end?

I also really want the last two volumes of Kamui, Pandora Hearts, and Nui!. But I really want everything to be saved, they didn't have a ton of titles anyway, and they were all pretty good.

It's a shame that they have to close. They had the highest quality releases of any other publishing company. And the staff working so hard to make it easier for the titles to be rescued, that's really classy. I wish them all the best of luck.

Does the closing of Broccoli affect Sync-Point in anyway? It would be criminal if the FLCL anime went out of print...

Same here! As soon as I read this I felt like, "Yes! There may be a FUNimation move for their manga! Ohhhh! I hope most--if not all--of their titles get rescued!" *crosses fingers*

I dearly love Juvenile Orion and am positively dying to read Pandora Hearts! Plus, not that I didn't enjoy 'em as is, but if whoever picks up their titles formats 'em in the regular size tankoban (like I said, nothin' at all against Broccoli for doin' that in the first place, it's just a personal preference) that'd just make my year!!! Very Happy

Since Broccoli owns Sync-Point....

FLCL has been OOP for awhile now anyways. At least I haven't heard any further reprintings since Rightstuf cancelled the back-orders. So, whatever Broccoli stocks are already out there is all there would be.

So yeah, unless another company re-licenses FLCL in R1, nobody else there could print it.

Though I wonder if Adult Swim would have to re-negotiate, this time with the revertant Japanese rightsholder, if they want to air FLCL again.
